This new malt whisky from Freudenberg matures for at least five years in barrels made of chestnut wood and in ex-bourbon casks. The highlight comes afterwards: before bottling, Freud whisky is further aged in casks that held our iconic Alte Zwetschge fruit brandy. This imbues Freud with elegant nuances of flavour that elevate this whisky to a level of its own.
